After 7 years of absence and a media-frenzied "retirement", Monsieur Robuchon has made his comeback in the chic 7th arrondissement. Between the black lacquered wood furnishings and the somber granite floor are the gleaming spice jars and chrome shelves. Your eyes follow to the hanging hams, and then to the costumes planted on high ruddy leather tabourets placed around this Japanese-influenced bar. It's great for a dinner for two. It's a convivial place that stays simple but refined. We recommend the lobster salad, prepared fresh, or the tuna with spiced oil, the cray fish "à la plancha", or even the canneloni with foie gras. Thirty or so appetizers are on offer with each season, perfectly accompanied by a glass of fine wine. It's a chic canteen, a neo-bourgeois Hispanic-Japanese snackshop in a decor signed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, that many love to go to and you may have to wait in line for (no reservations here).
