A historic venue
Since 1913, the history of the Comédie des Champs Elysées has been integrally linked to many of the great names of the theatrical scene. First managed by Jacques Hébertot, and then Louis Jouvet, at its very peak it staged works by Jules Romain, and Charles Dullin, as well as increasingly becoming home to the plays of Giraudoux, Achard and Anouilh. These days, contemporary and classical productions share the bill, critical response to which is almost always favourable.
Now managed by Michel Fagadau, this theatre is a part of the 'Théâtres Privés de Paris' organisation. On offer are the Soyez les premiers aux premières (Be the first at the première) and 70 francs pour les moins de 26 ans (70 F for the under 26's) deals.
